Frequently Asked Questions
1. What’s the difference between framed, semi-frameless, and frameless showers?
Answer:
-
Framed: Full metal support around all edges — durable and budget-friendly.
-
Semi-Frameless: Minimal framing with more exposed glass for a cleaner look.
-
Frameless: No metal framing — just strong, thick glass for a sleek, modern design.
2. How long does the process take from quote to installation?
Answer:
Typically 2–4 weeks depending on the design, materials, and glass availability. We handle measurements, custom glass fabrication, and installation efficiently and keep you updated at every step.
3. Is the glass safe and strong enough without a frame?
Answer:
Yes! Frameless showers use tempered safety glass, which is 4–5x stronger than regular glass. It meets strict building codes and is designed to resist breaking under normal use.
4. How do I clean and care for my glass shower?
Answer:
Use a squeegee after each use to prevent water spots and buildup. We recommend a non-abrasive glass cleaner weekly. Ask us about optional protective coatings that make cleaning even easier.
5. Can you install a custom shower in my small or unique bathroom layout?
Answer:
Absolutely. All of our showers are custom-measured and designed to fit your space — including angled ceilings, tight corners, or non-standard dimensions.
6. What kind of hardware and finishes can I choose from?
Answer:
We offer a wide range of finishes including brushed nickel, chrome, matte black, bronze, and gold. Hinges, handles, and towel bars can all be matched to your existing bathroom hardware.
7. Do your installations come with a warranty?
Answer:
Yes — all of our glass shower installations come with a 1-year workmanship warranty, plus manufacturer warranties on glass and hardware.
8. Do I need to be home for the installation?
Answer:
We recommend someone is home to meet the crew, but our licensed installers can complete the work with minimal disruption and if you are not able to be home for installation, we have done plenty of installs without homeowners present. If you are home, we’ll walk through the finished work with you after the install.
